Head east of I-75 in Sarasota County and you'll not find many residential subdivisions except for the enclaves and light industrial parks around the interstate. Further east you'll find horse farms, agriculture, most of it zoned Open Use Estate (OUE) with 5 acre parcels, pole barns, horse stables, large homes, landscape gardens and cow pastures. Did you know Florida has more cows in pasture than any other state? Partly because of the agricultural exemption for property taxes. Further east you'll find Myakka State Park with thousands of acres of pristine wilderness, rivers, trails, wildlife and wetlands. If you need info on rural property, horse boarding or equestrian property, then call me. If you're a nature lover or equestrian, then go east!
