It's always easy for me to sell something that I'm sold on first. This is why invest in and love Nokomis. I tell my buyers, 'if you want Sarasota 35 years ago, come to Nokomis". It's laid back and is literally the center of Sarasota County, both geographically and transportation-wise, via several major N-S and E-W roads. This puts you within 10 to 15minutes from Nokomis Beach, Venice jetty, downtown Venice, Nokomis Village, Myakka park, Carlton Preserve, Legacy trail, off-road biking, and hiking. The various housing types offer something for everyone. Larger parcels such as those in Mission Valley and various un-platted enclaves offer rural and equine lifestyles. Newer subdivisions and Venice annexations offer planned communities with amenities. My favorite area, west of 41 includes all housing types and proximity to beaches, shops, and dining. Casey Key is a great example of old Florida, and Bay Point subdivision was originally designed as part of Venice under the John Nolen city plan. I could go on, but there's only one page here. I can talk about it all when I help sell your property.
